Spread the joy - Support to Deepanjali Trust

Deepanjali trust (https://www.deepanjalitrust.org) is a home for visually impaired/disabled boys and young adults (age group of 16yrs to 30yrs). The service provided by the Trust was explained by the founder, Subbaraydu who himself is also visually impaired. The home provides free hostel facilities and education help to both the visually impaired and physically challenged. The visually challenged students especially from rural background find it difficult to continue to their education due to lack of financial support from parents, proper environment and required infrastructure such as Braille books. These students find home and help here.

There are plenty of challenges in getting an education and a job for these students, H&L understand this and we have volunteered to help them to scan text books or translate the course materials to audio files and help the graduated students to search for jobs. In addition, H&L supported them with a cash donation for immediate day-to-day requirements. We hope to help make their lives a little better in some way.
