Spread the joy - Sampatthu orphanage at a glance

Sampatthu is a small orphanage which houses around 25 kids in 2 locations. Kids here are from varied background - who were on the streets/single parents who can't afford to raise the kid/orphans. Sampatthu takes them in and provides them with food, clothing, shelter and a good education. They are sent to Veda Vienna Maha Pathashale run by Sri Sri Ravishankar Ashram. In addition to this, they are involved in extra curricular activities too. The orphanage itself is well organized and cleanly maintained.

The initial meet to discuss the support that can be provided by H&L was very productive. We can add value in infrastructure - beds for kids/fridge etc or supply of provisions which will help meet their monthly requirements. Going forward, we will be working with them closely and extend all the help that we possibly can.
